This is my first comment on your blog (which I am following for a few months). I heard a lot about Corrag and hope to read it soon. L. Ulitskaya is also one of my favorite russian authors.
Among the books I recently bought is "Sunset Park" by Paul Auster which I am very excited to read !
And finally, a non related to books comment : your cat is really cute !

So excited for you that you will get the chance to read Corrag! I have been following that one for a long time now. Lots of great things under your tree, I see, and lots of stuff that is new to me. I will be relying on your ever wonderful reviews to tell me which ones to buy and which ones to avoid. I hope you have an amazing New Year, Marie, and I look forward to reading more of your blog in 2011!

LOVED your Vlog! And you are such a lucky girl! What a great bunch of books! Thanks for sharing your highlights because I'm always looking for new foreign authors and you peeked my interest with Ludmilla Ulitskaya. Also have written down Corrag for my TBR list.

Have a wonderful New Year! Look forward to more blogging and wonderful posts next year!

Marie I love your vlog each week. You have such a great voice to be doing the on camera stuff. The quality of your voice makes it so easy to listen to. That sounds weird but since you "know" me you won't think so! Anyway you have a great bunch of books there. I look forward to the reviews. P.S. your cat was absolutely adorable in the background!

your cat is so cute in the background. Corrag was quite good; I debated putting it on my top list. so hard to make final decisions. I also really enjoyed Almost Dead. in 2011, we'll have to do some bargain book searching. I have a few I'd like to buy.

So many books! Life is good.

I must confess that I have a stack of books waiting to be read. It's difficult to find time to read when there's so much else waiting to be done. But I set them aside and started reading the book my daughter gave me for Christmas - Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke. So far, I'm enjoying it. It's definitely different!

Thank you for the video review of these books. I hope you have a adventurous 2011.
