It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

I finished Not My Father's Son last week, and I have to say it was really good. It's a tough read emotionally but the ending is about acceptance and moving forward, and that's about the best you can do under the circumstances. Anyway it was a really satisfying book and I think Alan Cumming did a good thing to write it.
This week I won't be reading much, but I'm continuing on with Jamrach's Menagerie (almost done) and The Hilltop, and I started Roxane Gay's Bad Feminist, which I'm really enjoying. I like reading essays at the gym because they have nice defined stopping points and you can skip around. I haven't been, but you can in theory. I anticipate finishing both novels in the next week or two and moving on to some new stuff. It's so hard to choose, and hopefully there will be a book or two under the Christmas tree on Thursday. I don't know how much I'll be blogging this week, but I hope everyone who celebrates it has a great Christmas.

What are you reading this week? See more at BookJourney.wordpress.com. Merry Christmas!
