It's about building the credit. I do believe in second chances. :)

I'm extra cautious about reading another if the author is not good in my book. At least I wouldn't buy it but borrow it.

Expectation is a huge factor. Once I have liked a book, my expectation mounts. Whether the author is my favorite or not, I'll be bummed out if the book doesn't hit the mark.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359999156621466745.post-16257683370926296562009-04-30T16:46:00.000-04:002009-04-30T16:46:00.000-04:00Brandy, yeah, I don't know, it was just one of tho...Brandy, yeah, I don't know, it was just one of those things. I got about 1/3 of the way through it and it just didn't seem like it was ever going to go anywhere. It had all of her signature foreshadowing-dual-time-line etc. It just didn't connect for me. *shrug* I'm sure if I'd finished it, it would have been awesome.Marie Cloutierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14938166831865436287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1359999156621466745.post-89474164629672600642009-04-30T16:43:00.000-04:002009-04-30T16:43:00.000-04:00You didn't like Oryx and Crake?
