Today's question: LT and RL (real life)- do you have friends in real life that you met through LibraryThing? Have you attended any LT meet-ups in your area? Would you be open to attending meet-ups or is LT strictly an online thing for you?My answer: I don't have any friends that I met through LT but I have a few real-world friends who are also LT friends. I haven't attended a meet up but I'm open to it. There was a get-together in Cambridge a few months ago but I was busy or something and didn't get to go. I would make more of an effort next time though since I'd be interested to meet some folks on LT and many of them are local. I'm always a little nervous meeting people from online but I'd give it a try.
