Today's the day for the blog tour of Elizabeth McCracken's new book, An Exact Replica of A Figment of My Imagination, her harrowing and touching memoir of the stillbirth of her first child.It's published by Little, Brown and at 192 pages it's a fast read, but you'll find yourself drawn in and absorbed by McCracken's sensitive narration of her experiences of pregnancy and childbirth. It's a sad book, but also a hopeful book and I'm sure many people who've been through a miscarriage or stillbirth will be able to relate to her story.
