Book Shelf Kitty

While I was having breakfast this morning, my cat felt the need to squeeze himself up in to my bookshelf. He stayed just long enough for me to snap this picture. Is he cute or what?

    YES! My cat is ALWAYS hanging out on my bookshelves. It's fine until she starts scratching the books.

    Cats just seem to have a penchant for books.

    Which reminds me...I must find a way to obtain a friendly cat for my library....

    What a cutie. Maine Coon? We had one that looked similar and she was part Maine Coon.

    What a doll! My cats are the same way, but they stay just long enough to somehow knock 15 books out. :) Then they look at me with this "thanks a lot!" look. :)

    Diane, he's a Siberian. They're very similar to Maine Coons. :-)

    Adorable. She is so sweet. I hope at some point Drummy the new dog calms down enough to allow the cat to hang out with the family again.

    She use to lay on the couch behind my head, or share the bed with me and Byron. No Drummy is hard pressed to share the bed with ME!

    He's adorable. Cats choose the funniest places to perch sometimes.
    I wonder if, like dogs, they like being near our personal things that have our smell on them. They seem to love our beds or laundry baskets, even suitcases. Thay are fun creatures to have around. Great shot.
