Last weekend Harvard Bookstore held its semiannual warehouse sale, where they open a big building filled with remainders and used books. I got a few cool things- Iain Banks' novel The Steep Approach to Garbardale, John Williams' Stoner and a collection of comics by animator Lev Yilmaz, a favorite of mine. Banks is another favorite; he's an established science fiction author who also writes amazing literary fiction. I can't wait to read this one!
Forget Sorrow, a graphic novel by Belle Yang, came for review from her publicist.

ReplyDeleteHow I wish we had these types of sales in my part of the world. Yet again, just another way to put book temptation in my way, perhaps it isn't such a good thing.
