Musing Mondays: What books are you wishing for?

This week’s musing asks…

What books are you wishing for MOST right now?

Honestly, there aren't many. My shelves are pretty full and I have a good selection of fall releases, current books and older titles waiting to be read.

But, having said that, I'd like to read
  • The Bells, by Richard Harvell, and
  • C, by Tom McCarthly.
These are all fall releases and the last two are Man Booker nominees. You?

Musing Mondays is hosted by Miz B at ShouldbeReading.wordpress.com.

  1. The only one that I am really anxious about right now is Mockingjay, but since that one is not out yet, I have to sit tight. Another book that I really want to get it is the latest Guy Gavriel Kay book.

  2. I'm currently coveting the new Terry Pratchett, I Shall Wear Midnight, which is out at the end of the month. I might have to break my book buying ban and get it :P

  3. There isn't any one book that I am wishing for right now. I am still working through my deep TBR stack. I'm sure one or two will grab my attention when browsing in the book stores, though.

  7. I seem to lust after so many books, but I'm drawing a blank right now. I hope all those you are wishing for come your way.

  8. I'm super impatient for Gail Carriger's Blameless, and I *was* all grabby-hands for
Elizabeth's Women by Tracy Borman -- but I just got an ARC of it!! So my book yearnings have been mostly addressed. :)

  9. I'm really wishing for Laura Lippman's latest, I'd Know You Anywhere. She's my one low-brow guilty pleasure, and I just really need a mental break...

  10. I'm doing pretty well cooling my jets. I get to this point occasionally that I don't have too many that I want. I could probably figure some out if pressed, but overall pretty calm around here.

  13. I don't really need any books. That TBR pile will keep me busy for a long time.
Now I do have a Wish List, on Amazon, but it just a place to keep some I might like to buy in the future. I don't crave them....

  14. I'm so up to my neck in my line-up of TBR's that I can't even think straight. I would like to have on hand the latest Isabel Allende book, but I won't shed tears if I don't get it soon. LOL
