Tuesday Thingers


Today's Question: The LT Home Page feature. How are you liking it? Or not? Do you go here when you log into LT or do you use your profile page more?

My answer: I like the new home page feature. I use it to keep track of the discussion groups I follow, as well as my LT friends and interesting libraries. The only feature I didn't care for was the "hot reviews" section- I don't really read reviews on LT, at least not often enough to warrant keeping the feature.

On another note: After this week I would like to discontinue hosting Tuesday Thingers. I am experiencing blogging burnout and would like to relieve myself of the obligation of hosting the meme. (Some of you may have noticed it's been a while since my last Graphic Novel Monday...) It's been a lot of fun, and it's given my blog some great exposure and introduced me to all of you wonderful bloggers (for which I am grateful) but it's time to pass the torch. Whoever takes it over is free to change the name, change the logo- whatever you want.
UPDATE: We have a new Tuesday Thingers host- but you'll have to tune into Boston Bibliophile one last time next Tuesday to find out who!

I'll post one last question next week.

    Although I really enjoy this meme and would hate to see it end, I have too many demands on my time to take it over. :-(

    Marie - I think you have done a wonderful job of Thingers and I hope it will continue. I'd love to take it on, but I'm afraid I might not be able to keep up with it! Thanks for all your hard work!

    Here's my response for today.

    I hope you find someone to take this over ... I've enjoyed participating. Wish I could lead it but I can't take on that level of commitment. Maybe it needs to be coordinated by a team, with rotating responsibility for the topic?

    Tuesday Thingers is lots of fun for all of us, but I know it's lots of work for you, Marie. Hope somebody takes it over, but I can't believe anyone could do the job as wonderfully as you have! Many thanks.

    I haven't posted this week as I#ve been away from home. I do like the LT Home Page. I do occasionally read reviews on LT but usually fo specific books.

    I'm sorry you're experiencing blogging burnout and pleased to see that someone else is taking on Tuesday Thingers. You've done a grand job and I've learnt a lot about LT because of this. Thank you.
