So I am kind of obsessed with The Wheel of Time series on Prime and now I've started reading the first book in Robert Jordan's 14-book series, The Eye of the World. And I'm kind of loving it! It's a chunkster (they all are) but I feel like I'm going at a good clip. It's tightly plotted, has immersive characters and lots of detail and foreshadowing. What more could you ask for?In audioland I started Jamie Loftus's new book Raw Dog, about the history and culture of hot dogs. Yum.
What are you reading these days?

Just finished The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro and am slogging through a so-so academic book on Giallo films.
