What’s the lightest, most “fluff” kind of book you’ve read recently?
Probably the fluffiest book I've read recently was Farahad Zama's The Marriage Bureau for Rich People. I enjoyed the book a lot, but this book was actually the reason I came up with a new rating to add to my scheme- Beach. A well-crafted summer read, it's sweet as taffy and light as cotton candy.

I didn't realise, it is fluff!
Booking through recent fluff
That sounds like something I'd definitely be interested in!
I'm in the mood for a book just like that right now!
I absolutely LOVE stories taking place in India! I am definately adding this to my TBR pile!
Love todays BTT!
I love your new rating category!
I remember putting this on my wish list after reading your review. I love books that deal with India, so this is a must read. Glad to hear it was a light and fluffy read, that's just what I'm looking for at the moment!
My latest fluffy read is House and Home by Kathleen McCleary. I'm reading it right now. It's good, but lightweight.
I've seen this book around (and thought it looked a little "beachy"), so I've been avoiding picking it up. I tend to steer clear of "beach reads" (until I go on a big binge and consume like ten in one week of vacation). I think putting them into the category of "guilty pleasure" is like a self-fulfilling prophecy... maybe if I didn't avoid them for so long, if they were a more regular part of my literary diet, then I wouldn't feel so guilty about reading them.
haha the title sounds so cheezy...as cheezy as my chosen book :)
You really don't strike me as a reader of fluff :)
Mine's HERE
Ha! Just the cover alone looks fluffy! :)
Fluff to me is something that I don’t have to pause and scribble notes for. So that includes a light travelogue (not not much of historical note), chick lit, and comfort read. In my answer, I picked The Jane Austen Book Club because it was a quick read and comforting. Some readers might find a fluff read being compromising in its writing, but not necessarily. Fluff reads can be great for a drab, gloomy afternoon on a weekend.
