Sophisticated Dorkiness also has a post up including Angelmaker as one of her favorites of the year!
There are so many books that I liked last year. In the Shadow of the Banyan is one, and in mystery novels, Broken Harbor by Tana French.
I loved Wonder. It didn't make my favorites, but it was close. I'm going to have to check out Angelmaker...
I have and really want to read Breed. It sounds like it would scare the pants off of me! This is a great compilation. I need to check out a few of these!!
I love your idea of listing what your friends loved this year. My two favorites were The Dog Stars and Song of Achilles.
I love this post! Wonder and See You At Harry's are already on my tbr list. I still haven't figured out my favorite books of the year yet. ;-)
What a neat idea!
I just borrowed Angelmaker from the library so I'm quite excited to read it!
Thanks for sharing the favorites!
