I finished Staying On last night. Wow. Just, wow. More later this week.
I started reading London: The Biography, by Peter Ackroyd. It's my bedside book and I anticipate reading a few chapters a week. It'll take me a while to get through it!
I also started reading Michael Frayn's Skios this past week. It's a farce by the author of "Noises Off" and so far it's pretty farcical. The whole thing hangs on a case of mistaken identity. If you can't buy that, the book will not work for you at all. I'm trying to hang in there and see where it goes.
Skippy Dies is coming along. I'm enjoying it OK, and I'll keep going.
What about you? What are you reading this week? See more at BookJourney.wordpress.com.

I do so like your list! enjoy them all.
I've got Skippy Dies in my someday TBR -- I'll watch for your review to see if I should bump it up. Am reading a Regency romance right now -- I've battling a sinus infection and need some fluff!
will have to check out Skios. The daughter's school is doing Noises Off the weekend following the next and N has read the play at least twice.
finishing The Thing Around Your Neck by Adichie today. hoping a Karen Lord book comes in at the library by tomorrow so I can get started on that; otherwise it is How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents by Alvarez

Ok way to keep us hanging on "Staying On"!!! Tell us about it already! When you go crazy over something, I have to pay attention. I'm within a few discs of finishing "Native Son". Now that the kids are back in school I should be able to blow through that pretty quickly. Also about halfway through "Lost Girls", a true crime novel that is kinda terrifying.
I enjoyed Noises Off when I saw it years ago so I'll be watching for your thoughts on Skios.
