I'm still on Catherine the Great (taking my time!) but I finished Dineh, by Ida Maze, a coming of age story set in Belarus in the late nineteenth century and originally published in Yiddish. Speaking of Women in Translation Month! Dineh would be a great choice, too.
I started Mrs. March, by Virginia Feito, last night. Somebody said it's like if John Cheever and Ottessa Moshfegh had a book baby, it would be this NYC-set story about a woman slowly losing her mind. I forget where I heard about this book; I think it was from the fabulous Ann Kingman of the Books on the Nightstand podcast. She compared it to Moshfegh and Patricia Highsmith. I think both comparisons are apt!
