I finished two books recently- nonfiction and fiction, and so I get to start new ones. I started last night actually.
Normal People is Sally Rooney's second book, after her debut with Conversations with Friends, which I haven't read. There is a Hulu series based on Normal People which I hate watched early in 2020. It did leave me with lingering curiosity about the book, which I have had on my shelf since its release in 2019. It caught my eye because it's a Hogarth book and because it's Irish. It was also a pretty big-deal book when it came out and I was able to snag a galley at work. So far, so good; I like her writing though I'm trying not to see Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul what's his name as I read about Marianne and Connell's depressing romance.
What are you reading?
