Aravind Adiga's
The White Tiger has just been announced as the winner of this year's Man Booker Prize!
Congratulations, Mr. Adiga!
I haven't read it yet myself but I'm sure I'll buy it sometime soon. It looked the most interesting to me of all the nominees and I'll definitely add it to my TBR pile in the next month or two.

This one has been on my radar for a while, but I'm not sure why. I can't wait to read a review.
Yup it is all my fault. Adiga is the only one I didn't buy so it was guaranteed to win. I really am not wanting to read this book and if I don't it will be the first Booker winner in years that I have eschewed.
I have a bit of Indian Lit fatigue so I may wait a few years for this one. But I still plan to read Sea of Poppies (in my pile).
And I want to read the Sebastian Barry (need to get it).
I am so happy Aravind won. He's my friend's younger brother and we spent a few days together when we all congregated for his brother's wedding in Galveston, TX, a few years back. Very talented writer!
