Unfinished Friday

Any unfinished reads this week? Leave a link or comment below and we'll visit each other and share our unfinished books.

I know most of us endeavor to finish everything we read, but we don't have to, and sometimes it's impossible- it just doesn't work for us, for one reason or another. But it's still possible to get some mileage out of that work for your blog- by sharing it with us here on Fridays!

I don't have any unfinished finds for you today but I'd love to hear about yours!

No unfinished books for me either. Though I'm reading one (Honolulu by Alan Brennert) I wish I could leave unfinished. It's for book club so I have to slog through it.

I tried to read Javier Calvo's Wonderful World, but I gave up about 60 pages in. Usually I am not easily offended, but even in this "comic" novel, the misogyny was so thick I couldn't keep reading.

Still reading The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle inbetween other books! It's literary fiction and doesn't go as fast as mysteries and suspense novels.

Hello, NE Bloggers!
Our 1-year anniversary is coming up on Jan 27. To mark the occasion I am going to put up a Mr. Linky on the evening of Monday, January 25. If you'd like to write a post about living in NE, fav places to visit, funny stories and stereotypes, recipes, photos of our gorgeous landscape, anything, it would be great if you would link in. I'd also like a little idea of # of participants, if you could just send me a reply.
Since I don't have emails from everyone, I'm also leaving this message in your comments, sorry for the double-up.

On Friday, I was in the middle of The Youngest Son: Memoirs from the Motherland by Oreste LeRoy Salerni but finished reading it over the weekend! I also have the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle to finish, by Murakami!
