This weekend I started reading
A Pigeon and a Boy, by Meir Shalev. It's about pigeon handlers on kibbutz and in the Israeli arm have had this in my TBR pile for a long time and it was next on the pile. I love just pulling something off that shelf and delving into it. When I went on Twitter on Friday morning for #FridayReads and said I was reading this book, someone immediately tweeted back "that's such a beautiful book." I took that as a good sign and so far I have to agree.

I haven't heard of A Pigeon and a Boy but it sounds really interesting!
A new book for me as well. Sounds intriguing.
