It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's been a long long week for me here; lots of stuff going on, trying to catch up and get back to real life. I started a new volunteer job and continue my search for actual paying work in New York, I'm working on restocking and revising my Etsy shop in time for the holiday shopping season, and have some short-range travel coming up in the near future, too.

And I'm reading. Always with the reading.

I've been enjoying Linda Ferri's historical novel Cecilia, about a Roman teenage girl and her eventual awakening to Christianity. Right now it's an interesting book about daily life in Rome among the upper classes, with some teen angst thrown in. I haven't finished it but so far it seems like a reasonable YA crossover book. It's worth seeking out if that kind of thing interests you.

Still working my way through the dynamic duo, The Big Green Tent and Flood of Fire. I just need those shorter books going too!

What about you? What are you reading this week?
