It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

The short answer is not much.

I gave up on Independent People; it's good and everything, but I just couldn't hack it any more. I'd pick it up, read a paragraph and go "I can't do this." Then a day later the same thing would happen, then it would happen again later the same day, and again the next. So I picked up an "it" book of the season, got about 30 pages in and decided it was far to ponderous, not to mention boring, for my taste, and ditched that as well.

So this Monday I'm going to try So Much For That Winter, by Dorthe Nors, which is this month's pick for the Nordic Book Club. Plus the meeting is next week I think? And I really need to get on it!

I continue to pick my way through The City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin and The Most Dangerous Book, by Kevin Birmingham, which I'm really enjoying. But I'm in the middle of a difficult move and basically when I come home from running around I'm just too exhausted to read. And I haven't had time to go to the gym much either. Two more weeks and we'll be settled in our new home, and things might start returning to normal. We'll see!

And that's it for me. What are you reading?
