What I'm Reading This Week

 

Finally getting into Catherine the Great by Robert K. Massie. I actually had this in galley when it came out and never ended up reading it but I ordered a copy from Powell's recently and I could stay up all night reading this fantastic book. I might!

When it comes to epic love stories you can't beat David Grossman and his latest, More Than I Love My Life, is not disappointing me. I'm about 1/3 of the way through and loving every word.

The Rivals and Other Stories by Jonah Rosenfeld is the current selection of the Yiddish Book Center's Great Jewish Books Club. It's dark and depressing so you know I am enjoying it alongside my other reads.
