Still on the same books as last week- Every Good Boy Does Fine and The Silence of the White City, alongside How Yiddish Changed America and How America Changed Yiddish on audio. Since I finished Act of Passion, I added a new book to the nightstand reading pile:
I read Stephen Benatar's When I Was Otherwise a few years ago, when I first started to do the Publisher's Spotlight series. The series I was planning on Capuchin Classics, which published this book, fell apart for some reason I don't remember and I never reviewed it on the blog. But I really loved it, and I'm enjoying my re-read so far. It's about the case of two elderly women who are found dead in a London home where they lived with an elderly man- one woman was his sister, the other his sister in law. I don't remember if I bought it somewhere or if Capuchin sent it to me. It was that long ago!
What are you reading?
