Jewish Book Month!

Okay it's been forever since I observed Jewish Book Month, which is promotion of the Jewish Book Council and runs every year the month before Hanukkah.

For those of you who are new to my blog, I have a professional background in Jewish libraries and currently volunteer for the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. I think Jewish Book Month is a really fun event and a great opportunity to promote books that might slip under the radar for a lot of readers.

This month, writer Erika Dreifus is doing a promo for it on her blog, which you can see here, which is like a Jewish Book Month Bingo.

Erika's idea is to post about any book you've read in 5783, the current Jewish year, but I'm going to do a series of posts about books that I've read whenever, just to talk about them. Please check out Erika's blog, www. ErikaDreifus.com,  to learn about her books, her great articles, weekly Jewish Literary Links and other features. She's the best!
