It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Well, I'm done with If All the Seas Were Ink, and blew through ArtForum like I knew I would, so I get a new slate of reads to start off the week.

Starting the week off with One Hundred Saturdays, by Michael Frank with illustrations by the great Maira Kalman. This is a book based on extended interviews with a woman named Stella Levi, who tells stories about the Jewish community in Greece, Rhodes in particular, where she was raised. It's wonderful so far and has garnered lots of praise.

Before My Actual Heart Breaks (love that title), by Tish Delaney, is a novel set in Northern Ireland about a woman's life from girlhood on. Loving it so far. Always love my Irish books.

That's it for new books. I'm still really enjoying Billy Porter's Unprotected on audio. I can't recommend that one enough. And now that it's spring it's a pleasure to walk around with it.

I'm reading 8 Rules of Love by Jay Shetty and The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai. My fiancee and I wanted to read Jay's book together...
