Same as before but I finished two novels since my last post, and so I've started a new one.
The Dogs of Summer, by Andrea Abreu (translated from the Spanish by Julia Sanches) is a short book about two young girls and their fiery friendship. I love books about girlhoods, especially tempestuous ones, and I'm enjoying this so far. I think it came from a recommendation by someone I follow but I'm not 100% on that so I don't want to attribute it wrongly but I'm pretty sure it came to me that way. I bought my copy from Barnes & Noble at their big hardcover sale at the end of last year.
