New on the Bookshelf

I Remember, by Joe Brainard. This is a long poem that I was introduced to as part of a writing workshop I took recently. After the workshop, which focused on mining memories for poetry or prose, I decided I wanted to read the whole thing and have it on hand. Purchased from Powells.com.

Our Wives Under the Sea, by Julia Armfield. This is a novel by the author of the wonderful short story anthology salt slow, which I read a while ago, during my lengthy blogging hiatus. I really loved salt slow and I'm looking forward to this a lot. My husband bought this for me in San Francisco at one of the many bookstores he visited.

What My Bones Know: A Memoir of Healing from Complex Trauma, by Stephanie Foo, was recommended by some women in a Facebook group I belong to. Purchased from Powells.com.

Cool Gray City of Love, by Gary Kamiya, is an anthology of writing about San Francisco. Another gift from my husband's recent trip to SF.
