If you read romance novels, answer this question:
Who are your favorite “romance” authors? Why?
If you do NOT read romance novels, answer this question instead:
Do you read love-themed books in honor of Valentine’s Day? Or, Valentine’s Day books, specifically? If so, give us some examples! If not, why not?
I read romance novels when I was a teenager for fun but I haven't in years; just not my thing. Yesterday I talked a little bit about some of my favorite literary love stories like The English Patient and Jane Eyre and while I love love stories, I don't read love-themed books in honor of Valentine's Day per se, but only because I don't generally do the whole seasonal-theme-read thing in general. I don't really have a good reason why- just not a habit I've ever gotten into!
Movies are a different story and I do plan on watching a romantic movie this evening. You can visit my movie blog to see my post on great movies for Valentine's Day.

I got bags of romance novels delivered to my house when my kids were babies, and my favorites were the ones by Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb. I still read those when a new one comes out!
no, I don't do the seasonal thing either...
or the romance books.
even as I kid I was reading Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie.
I don't ever really read romances for Valentine's Day, but if a book comes up in rotation around the right time of year, I will read it!
Happy Valentine's Day :)
Not reading anything special today
I've never been attracted to romance novels, but don't mind that other people loved them.
Ahh, Jane Ayre...Nice.
I can’t just name one favorite romance or romance author. Here is my answer for Musing On Monday.Happy Valentine’s Day
I read more romances back in school than I do now, but I still enjoy a good love story every now and again! Think my favorites are Nora Roberts and Debbie Macomber. While I know these two ladies will give me the HEA I want, they're still talented enough to give me an original story with a good plot!
I also enjoyed The English Patient and Jane Eyre. I am not a romantic book enthusiast, though, in the sense of the genre. I do like a good story with romance in the background.
