I finished Andrea Abreu's electric Dogs of Summer last night, so I get to choose a new novel to read now and I picked
All Russians Love Birch Trees, Olga Grjasnowa's 2014 novel published by Other Press. It's about a Russian-Jewish immigrant to Germany and it caught my eye for a Shelf Control post a few months ago, so now I'm actually going to read it. I've read a high percentage of the books I picked for that feature.
In nonfiction land I picked Stephanie Foo's memoir What My Bones Know, about her recovery from complex PTSD.
What are you reading this week?
